i had the opportunity to be at home with two sick girls this morning. low grade fevers. there were better in about ten minutes. but heath left for her woman’s bible study and i manned the girls. it was awesome. as a dad, i don’t get to hang out with them during the day. we played with their new dolls, went to costco and then came home. it was full of laughter and singing their favorite song. love song by sarah bareilles. they both know all the lyrics. it’s hilarious.
this was followed by a visit from the plumber to fix the leak in the pipe behind our fridge. how did we know that there was a leak? good question. i guess a good indication is when there are mushrooms sprouting up on the other side of the wall. yeah. not good.
