today i worked at a client’s forever. i thought it would be easy. rolling a block of 5 new ips out. easy right? well, except they are hosting a buttload of press core, high maintenance hollywood types and the like. no one’s fault really. either the ips weren’t ready or there is something wrong with the router. not our problem though. we will blame it on verizon.
day went from bad to great when i tucked maddie in and whispered, “i love you baby.” she didn’t open her eyes. she just rolled over and said, “i love you too, daddy.” i think tears were shed.
the key is blame. i spend half my day covering my tracks, and the other half coming up with someone to blame.

children put everything into what is important. my children’s love for me means that i can go thru anything, even cancer. (not to mention the love of the Lord, their father and my grandchildren). love, mom
