normally the parents are supposed to get sick. heather is sick. so this morning when the kids got up at a little before 5:30am i went in to survey the damage. kenzie was playing in her crib and maddie was coughing up smurfs from her allergies/cold. i think they go hand in hand in this household. upon finding maddie in the dark and soothing her, she says. “daddy. it’s not light outside, is it?”
question of the day: how high will gas prices have to go until you think twice about driving?
i will never think twice about driving . . . . . i might if i had a bike . . . . .but i don’t . . ..
i just realized that i brought my camera, but i forgot my card reader . . . .. dumb . .. . .
I carpool already! Someone is going to have to do something for anyone to care!! Obviously it is not going to be my husband.:) He is not much of an activist…but I really miss him.
me, not an activist???
Seeing as though I just filled up for $42 I may start standing on the Garden Street onramp and try to thumb a ride to Carpinteria.
Having a hard time accepting $3 per gallon. I justify my current driving pattern by shopping for cheaper gas. Besides the LandCruiser only uses regular.
two words: fixed gear.
I guess I should walk the kids to parks nearby rather than driving them everywhere. And driving to the Vons with Starbucks inside may be a rarer treat.
