tonight we had our first softball game. first off it’s co-ed and we are supposed to play with four women. we had three. until mark’s mom showed up with the home made muffins. she runs a bakery in carpinteria. the muffins were epic. then she sported up and played catcher for us in leather sandals and capri pants. it was awesome. we rocked the all women opponent too. i thought they would be really good. turns out they weren’t as good as we thought. it was twenty one to zero in the second inning. we ended the night in the third inning and let them bat around since not all their players got to hit. they were great sports and they had some pretty awesome plays too. it was a fun night. summer sports starting at nine pm. can’t get much better than that.
