happy new year. today we ventured down to the aquarium of the pacific. it was one of those logistical dreams. left the house at 8:30 and were in the aquarium by 10:30. no one there. we had the place to ourselves, except for a few other crazy asians. i bet you were expecting to see some pictures of fish, sharks or tortugas. i liked this one better.

stopped by our great friends the kemmerers. we imposed our wild family on their new cats. this is ed. fred hissed at maddie only to be frustrated when maddie thought he was sneezing. so much for the intimidation.
