back from the quick trip to the windy city. it was a good trip. learned some stuff and was humbled. during my trip i learned the value of family. i learned how rich i am and how poor some are. i learned that i have the means to make a difference. i have the means to lend a hand. Christ does not ask us to decide who is worthy and who is not. Christ calls us to give without prejudice. why? because we can. who can argue that fact? we have houses, cars, we can go out to eat, we can buy clothes. what about those who can’t? who cares for them? i can. that’s who. i need to make a difference, not only there but in my own backyard. this is what i need to teach my children. there are those without and we need to care for them. i really believe this is where i can make a difference.

You are always sensitive to the needs of others. I love that about you. Maddie and Kenzie will learn by your example. Thanks for the reminders.

very cool.
when you were a child i always thought that you were to be used by God as a pastor. and you are. you have a heart that listens to your Lord and Savior and who wants to make a difference for Him. you are a pastor and i am proud of you as you follow His leading and am humbled by your passion for the less fortunate.
i love you and know that you will make a difference in everyone’s lives that you touch.
