tonight we surprised the girls and took them to the fair. it was a great family trip. we ran into friends and ate lots of fair food. the highlight was probably the ferris wheel. the big ferris wheel. mom and daughter no. 1 were high and very frightened. white knuckles, sweaty palms and.. well you get the picture. dad and daughter no. 2 was a bit of a different story. dad kept thinking of how he would try to land in the event the carny mis-operated the wheel, while kenz could not be happier. it was her favorite. clearly we have a problem. kenz will be riding it by herself next time. which will be when she is 18, because it will take that long for us to save enough money to go back.
