over the weekend we went up to the wilcox property to take some photos. this is one of my favs. on another note, it’s 10:25pm and i’m sitting in front of an exchange server running exmerge because the stupid store is corrupt. the only consolation is that i’m not here by myself. oh, and i now have full sympathy for woody because he paved the way for me.
question of the day: why is that when you order dr. pepper and they don’t serve it, they always ask if you would rather have root beer? they don’t even taste the same.
Nice….first post…..they don’t ask if you want “root beer instead” in the south. We were in Alabama (soccer, not by choice) and my sister asked the server for a root beer and the server looked at her like she was speaking Russian….if it wasn’t Coke or 7-UP, or a fruit juice that could be mixed with alcohol, they didn’t have it…..I guess they are afraid to offer anything but the basics because everything on the menu is deep fried and the patrons might start wanting the same variety in their food preparation which would force the them to break away from one cooking technique they’ve mastered…
I have never experienced your scenario because both drinks taste icky to me. I always thought they tasted the same! What do I know!
