not against the soapy water like some are, but usuall a rinse is all it gets before i load it up again.

How about no rinse or soapy water. It all adds to the flava! It gets washed on the weekends. Is that gross?

I don’t drink coffee very often, but the receptionist at my old work used to use windex and handsoap to clean out the coffee maker, and then used the garden hose to fill it up….does that seem repulsive to anyone else?????

Rinse only. It makes it into the dishwasher every few weeks. Definitely not by hand! Funny question coming from the non-coffee drinker.
after thinking about that, i don’t seem to want to know how often the big containers at Peets are washed . . . .. … .or even rinsed for that matter . . . . . .
