maddie-isms:
tonight we were driving down carrillo street past the fire house.
maddie: mommy
maddie: mommy
maddie: mommy
heather: yes.
maddie: did you see the firetrucks?
heather: uh. no sweatheart. i didn’t.
pause.
pause.
pause.
maddie: mommy, maybe you should try looking out your window.
question of the day: current healthcare or socialized medicine?
current healthcare. i would rather choose my own doctor. one who will relate to me as a person. of course it is easier for me than families on limited income. i wish that healthcare can be caring care. that is as important. being old has some benefits, like medicare. gotta love the government for that, of course i paid into it.
current healthcare . .. … ..
socialized!
No offense, but I don’t understand why socialized medicine need imply you don’t get to choose your doctor. and i might be tempted to argue that socialized medicine shows that the state cares about all of its people.
please, no offense mrs. young. i want to be invited back for dinner – especially st. patrick’s with white rice and shakie-shakie.
yeah but that means we pay more taxes and can’t afford to live here any more . . . . .
definately a legit argument, peter.
