today was strange. our dear friend, mr. reisig had a stroke. we went to the hospital to be with their family. this is probably the third or fourth time we have been to the hospital this year. dad with his back, mom with cancer, kenzie being born and now mr. reisig having a stroke. it makes me realize how fragile our lives are. it also moves me to see how God’s love binds people together. He is awesome. and yes that is god with a big G. sleep well mr. reisig. you are in our prayers. and mrs. reisig, peace be on your heart.
question of the day: define love.
love is devotion and selflessness
Love is everything that comes before self.
love is the ultimate sacrifice, jesus’s dying for us. that is the example of pure and unconditional love. i think parents experience this love for their children and grandchildren. no sacrifice is too big.
Love is knowing that there is something much bigger than self and trying to focus on that.
Love is hearing my husband’s voice and knowing that he adores you even from across oceans.
Love is watching my nieces grow up into smart, beautiful, loving girls.
Love is taking a big breath and knowing that you are taken care of and everything will be ok.
Love is knowing you are witnessing God’s miracles, even the small ones.
Love is walking arm and arm with my mom on the wilcox.
love is big . . . .love is strong. . . . .love is family . .. . .love is sunday dinners at mom and dads . . . . love is sometimes so big and so strong you can’t define it . . .
