this was a bitter sweet weekend. we were supposed to go down to see grammie sharon, but she was needed in oregon so we had a very quiet thanksgiving. auntie came over and gelson’s cooked our turkey. it was just fantastic spending a lot of time with just us. even though we were still battling sickness, it was special. for instance, i took four consecutive naps with maddie. i loved just being at home. plus we did see casino royal.

it’s me again…just trolling. but, since you asked about food, figured i’d better chime in. the best, and i do mean BEST part about thanksgiving turkey is leftover turkey sandwiches…toasted bread, turkey, miracle whip, and most importantly…blackberry jam. don’t knock it ‘til you try it!
